Å: winter world

If you think this is a scenery from a planet you are very familiar with, then you are wrong. This is planet Å. The plantation and arctic mammals are just placed here by the same -people- whom terraformed your own planet.

Crafting and Puzzles

There's a fine line between collecting items and hoarding. When you find valuable or useful objects that may come in handy in the future you wouldn't want to miss them. But what about those items that seem of less importance? Well, after collecting them, you can simply interact them with one another and craft your own useful item. Anastrønaut gives the players the freedom to use their imagination and creativity to solve puzzles by combining up to 6 items creating a useful object in a very friendly close-up view of what you're about to create.

The screenshot above is a room from a planet that is generated anytime you decide to test your crafting skills and see what you can come up with the items you collected. Similar rooms from different locations, ships and planets are available as well. Of course the possibilities of different creations, success and failure are too many.

Backgrounds enhancement

Feeling responsible towards my fans, I keep on improving everything from story line to backgrounds. Those are two before-after shots to demonstrate the graphical improvement I work on. the first image is outside cargo ship Athaal T14E, I added texture effects showing scratches from asteroids and space debris along with corrosion from radiation. the second image is a computer that I have completely changed its layout.

I am entrapped by a bunch of atoms attached firmly creating this entity of massive abilities. Some call it a body, others call it soul trap. "But... What is the soul?" I have been thinking, because I was granted time. Time away from being busy saving my life, and others. Nothing around to distract me. All my surroundings are these tissues of his giant internal organs with liquids and gooey substances. Despite my body is submerged to the neck; my mind is floating like it had never been before. It is dark, not pitch black but still dark. I can see a little red faint-luminance through the tissues revealing some veins and perhaps little glands. I shall remain your prisoner until either you show me mercy and spit me out, or get irritated and stir me with your acidic mixture and dissolve me into your being.

Womb of Monsters

A simple double-track midi I have composed for the game anastrønaut II: The Dark Side. It is used as the background music when the hero jumps naked in an alien lake full of surprises.

Pushing Death Scenes

Anastronaut II: The Dark Side will have death scenes that contain blood. In the first part I did not even show the main character lifeless. I decided to push the limit of violence here and show a little more.
As you see in the comparison between these two GIFs, the first one is a death scene from the first part where Anas drowns in a lake -only showing his floating helmet. The second one happens when he cracks his head after a slip in a rocky river from the new game and obviously there is blood.

Anas Abdin - Blue Station

I'm taking off alone
To my own blue station
Take my same ol'feeling
Take my same ol'self
I walk on a railway
Without a train of speed
Till the end of the line
Where you wait for me

I see a bridge ahead
Well I'm not afraid to cross it
Though tired of everything I passed
Tired of everyone I met

I tweet from outer space!

Some of my very few -but awesome- followers on Twitter sent me PMs complementing me on the idea. I do admit I'm a little lazy when it comes to Twitter but I am willing to fix that attitude of mine.
So what was the idea anyway? Nothing special, just being consistent when composing my tweets making them convenient to be from outer space (my ship, deep space, a planet... etc) So simply when the weather is so hot I'm visiting Mercury and so on... of course I have to mention AGS, pixel art, animations and stuff... with a spacey twist.
Honor me by following me on Twitter please

What is this noise? It has a rhythm that seems random at times, and stable like a metronome at others. It's all mixed up in my head, sometimes it feels sharp, sometimes it is just so deep and almost musical. Either way, it is producing a piercing echo.
...but that is only the hearing aspect of it...
The sound is accompanied with the worst pain a living organism could imagine. Like peeling someone's skin while completely conscious. But then it changes into the worst kick in the head leading to complete darkness, still awake. I have given the universe every positive particle in me, do I deserve all this in return? What had I done wrong? Why all this hatred and blackness?

The production of anastronaut II: The Dark Side

The story continues, after sending Lance Wallander into oblivion, it seems he managed to survive and plan his evil revenge by sending his alliances to capture our hero. Anas is imprisoned in cargo ship Athaal-T14E where he is being tortured and barely kept alive until the abandoned ship reaches its destination: Alpha Equulei.

Being captured in a small dark cell inside a huge ship for months has been affecting Anas' mental state. Not to mention the effects of all kinds of physical and psychic torture. He  needs to find a way to escape before entering the danger zone of the star. He has limited time to solve puzzles, find a way out, fight his damaged mental state and flashbacks.

But this is only the beginning, the real adventure is waiting outside the ship...

Excuse me... I missed a spot

Necessity is the mother of invention

In space, resources are extremely limited. Breathable air, drinkable water, energy and even atoms are considered precious inventory. This is a cool way to create an energy source with simple items
found in any small spaceship.

INGREDIENTS
Organic polymer container
Salt
Iodine
Silica
Cellulose
Aluminum cable

METHOD
Your container is going to be you lab. Add silica and salted iodine separated by cellulose. Use a well coated aluminum cable as a conductor plug. This whole mixture ensures a source of faint energy. However, it is able to store huge amounts of power when connected to a source of electricity.
THE ABOVE INFORMATION IS PURELY FICTIONAL. DO NOT TRY IT AT HOME.

So a few hours earlier, a little planet named Earth completed a whole spin around the circumference of its orbit around its young star back to the same position earthlings picked randomly many spins ago...
